5 Things: Bridesmaids Dresses

My Five Things Challenge:

I have decided to end my five thing series, so this is my final public purge.  I plan to continue to declutter our home as things come to my attention.

These dresses I wore for weddings during our first year of marriage.  I am finally donating them:

*In an attempt to maintain a level of simplicity in my life and in my home, I have set a goal of removing 5 unwanted/unneeded items per week.  The method of removal varies – some things I donate or give away, others I try to sell on ebay and Craigslist, and sometimes it is just a matter of throwing something away or recycling something that is no longer useful.  Click on the link at the top of this post to see my original Five Things post and where the idea came from.*

5 Things: Kitchen Utensils

My Five Things Challenge:

These wooden spoons went to Goodwill after I bought new ones to replace them:

5 Things: Cleaning Out the Refrigerator

My Five Things Challenge:

More items that had expiration dates slip past me.

5 Things: Cleaning Out the Pantry

My Five Things Challenge:

Time gets away from me and I often forget to check expiration dates on items in our pantry.  These were all a *little* more than way over their expiration dates.  As Rick Perry would say, “Oops.”
